The Amazing Spider Man 2 Video Game

I love spider man. I have loved him ever since I was a toddler. I have played mostly all of the spider man related games and this one coming out today is probably going to be my favorite out of all of the games that I have played. The new spider man game that is coming out is based off of the new movie coming out this coming Friday and based off of the trailers for the game, IT IS FREAKING AWESOME! If you played the first amazing spider man game, the swinging motion is very different. The optimized spideys arm to the left and right triggers. So the concept is simple if there is a building to the left, you use the left trigger. If there is a building to the right, you use the right trigger. If there is nothing for you to swing on, you will fall. The also created  new upgrades that you can get for swinging techniques. Also the web rush ability is back. This allows you to choose destinations more accurately when you are traveling. The map is the same as the old map from the first amazing spider man game. Yu can also go to Aunt Mays house where you will be tied in with the normal life of Peter Parker himself. If you go to you bedroom in the house, you buy upgrades, replay missions, save your game, or change your costume for spider man. That is probably my favorite feature of this game with the amount of costumes you can get. There are a total of nineteen costumes with pre order bonuses and console exclusive ones. If you pre order the game at gamestop you get four costumes known as the symbiote suit, the iron spider suit, the noir suit, and the cosmic suit. If you get the game digitally for Playstation consoles, you will get the electroproof suit. If you get the game digitally for xbox consoles, you will get the spider carnage suit which is very cool. Hopefully all of these extra costumes will hopefully be out for dlc in the future. All of the suits give you extra perks when you are in combat which is very cool. Thats it for me and I hope that you spider man fans pick this game up and have a fun time with it.

Call of Duty Ghosts Devastation: Predator?

If you saw the new Instagram post that Call of Duty made or if you saw the second Devastation trailer, then you know why I named this post predator. Obviously there will be four new maps with the dlc coming out this Thursday and one of the maps is called ruins. The field order on that map is activating the volcano, but I saw something else in the second trailer for this dlc. At the end of the video, I saw PREDATOR! I don’t know if he is a killstreak or if he is another field order. I don’t think that he is another field order because it wouldn’t make sense for  their to be two different field orders on one map. If I had to make a guess, I think it is a different game mode. You have a couple of survivors and one guy spawns as the predator. If the predator kills all of the survivors then he wins, but if another player kills the predator then he becomes the predator and he now has to kill everyone. That would be a really cool game mode but I wont find out this Thursday because I have call of duty for PS4. By the way, my prediction for the Devastation dlc for PlayStation users is either on May 3rd or May 6th. The latest is hopefully the 6th. Infamous Second Son

If you are a true PlayStation fan then you know what Infamous is. Recently the new Infamous game known as Infamous Second Son was released on March 21st of this year. Overall I have to say, THIS GAME IS AWESOME! Unlike Infamous 1 and 2, you have access to four different conduit powers. If you don’t know what a conduit is, it is what people are called with these amazing abilities. This game takes place in Seattle and I wont spoil anything about the story but I will tell you some basic info on the game. You play as Delson Rowe, a, “criminal” when it comes to graffiti and always gets arrested by his brother Reggie. After a prison bus crashed outside of their house, some conduits escaped and they are also known as Bio-Terrorists. Delson gets his powers from another conduit and that technically makes him a power sponge which gives him the ability to get any conduit power he wants. Thats all I’m going to tell you for the story but the powers that you get by the end of the game are smoke, neon, video, and concrete. There are different types of the game you can get. You can get the regular edition, you can get the limited edition which comes with the Cole’s Legacy bonus mission and Coles original yellow jacket, you could get the special edition which gives you the Cole’s Legacy bonus mission and Delson’s real life beanie, or you could get the collectors edition which comes with the extra jacket, pins to put on a real jacket, a bottle opener, the game, special coins that have the games logo on it, the Cole’s Legacy bonus mission, and Delson’s beanie. Just to let you guys know what the next blog post will be about, it will probably be bout the Amazing Spider Man 2 video game coming out on April 29th.

Call of Duty Ghosts Personalization Packs

Call of duty recently released some new personalization packs for ghosts including some new weapon skin packs, a couple of multiplayer characters, and some little things too.  There are four new weapon skin packs that also include some patches and backgrounds for your player card.  The four packs are called ducky, circuit, inferno, and space cats.  Some of the new multiplayers you can play as are from the campaign and their names are Elias, Hesh, Merrick, Keegan, Rorke, a hazmat suit trooper, and some other federation guy.  Some of the legends packs give you some patches and skins for your weapon in a MW3 skin and there are two legends packs, one comes with the multiplayer character Captain Price from MW3 and the second one comes with Makarov from the modern warfare series.  These packs are already out on xbox live and are predicted to come out on playstation network on March 27th.

Call of Duty Ghosts dlc 2: Devastation

The new call of duty ghosts dlc 2 was announced yesterday on the call of duty youtube channel.  This will be a long post like my last dlc post, but it is worth it.  This dlc will contain 4 new maps, a new weapon, and episode 2 of extinction.  The first map is called Ruins and it takes place in the ruins in an ancient temple in South America.  This map looks good for some domination and some kill confirmed.  If you complete a field order on that map, there is an active volcano and you can cause the volcano to erupt and little pieces of lava will splash all over the map.  The next map is called Behemoth and it takes place on an earth escalator.  Remember to watch your step on this map because you can fall off of the drill.  Some game modes that I would like to see in this map are some search and destroy and some free-for-all matches.  I’m not 100% sure on how this works but you can get a killstreak where you can fly in a helicopter and you are manning the mini gun and your just tearing them up.  The next map is called collision and it takes place on a bridge and a huge boat has crashed into the bridge.  This map would look good with some games of domination and some search and rescue.  If you complete a field order, you can fly around in an A10 bomber and just take out as many enemies as possible.  The last map is a remake of the map dome from MW3 with some tweaks to it.  You can call in some of the aliens from extinction and they will help you out in combat.  You can also get the venom x weapon from extinction on this map.  It is an easter egg and it has not been announced how to do it.  Some game modes that I would like to see are some team deathmatch and some infected.  The new weapon is called the riper and it is a hybrid to an smg and an assault rifle and you can switch between the two modes while in combat.  For example, if you need to clear out a room, use the smg mode and use it with hip fire action.  If an enemy is far away, switch to the assault rifle mode and flip up the reflex sight and take them out.  There is some really good news for xbox one and 360 users with the season pass.  If you have the season pass on xbox live, you can use the new weapon TODAY!  My prediction is that it wont come out to playstation users with the season pass sometime around April 5th.  The new extinction episode is called mayday and it takes place on a Chinese boat that the doctor was taken to.  If you beat Nightfall on the onslaught dlc than you know what I’m talking about.  There is a new alien type but I forgot the name of of but it functions like a scorpion and it shoots plant like turrets.  They also introduced some crafting items into the game and you can craft the venom x into four different variants.  Also the boss for this episode of extinction is a craken like creature.  The link to the actual trailer is the link below and this dlc will be released on April 3rd for xbox live users and is predicted to come out for playstation users on May 3rd.

Stand by for Titanfall!

A company named Respawn Entertainment recently created a new and awesome video game named Titanfall.  It obviously takes place in the future and you are a military solider with advanced weaponry and equipment.  After a certain amount of time has passed, you can call in your titan which is a huge mech robot that you can run around in.  Other players can hop on your back for a ride and enemy players can also jump on your back and shoot you.  There are three types of titans that are named assault, tank, and artilery.  Personally, I think that the assault titan is better because it is faster and it has a really good titan weapon.  Obviously you can customize your pilot, or solider, with upgrades and new weapons.  The game will hit store shelves March 17th for xbox one and will sone come out for the xbox 360. The beta for the game is already released but only for the xbox one.  If you wish to see the reveal trailer, there will be a link down below.  Overall, I think that this game is going to be amazing and I can’t wait for it to come out.

Bungies New Future Successor, Destiny

The video gaming company Bungie originally made the Halo games for the Xbox systems. But now a company named 343 industries has taken the title from them and granted, they are doing a great job with the Halo universe but now Bungie needed a new game to create. So in return of that, they created the game Destiny. This game was pushed back though so much! It was supposed to be out by Christmas of 2013 and was pushed back so it wont be released until September 9th of this year. That actually works out perfectly because my birthday is three days before the game is released. Destiny looks like a mix between Killzone and Halo which is a pretty good combination.  From what I have heard, they say it will have a little bit of a Star Wars theme to it because you can buy spaceships and travel to different planets.  I might be wrong but that is what I have heard.  If you pre order the game for the PlayStation systems, you will get access to the beta sometime in the summer time and Xbox users will get it hopefully a month before the game is released because the game was originally going to be a PlayStation exclusive but Xbox users probably complained to Bungie so much.  I personally think that this game is going to be one of the best next gen games for 2014.

Call Of Duty Ghosts Onslaught DLC #1

The new Call of Duty Ghosts dlc looks amazing and sadly, it came out first for Xbox 360 and Xbox one first.  It wont come out for the PlayStation 4 and 3 until February 27th. But that’s a story for another time.  Right now I am going to talk about the details about the dlc.  In this pack you get four new maps, two new weapons, and a new extinction chapter leading to the new mini story of the extinction series.  The four new maps are called Bayview, Containment, Ignition, and Fog.  Bayview is a map located at a harbor located in California.  It is a map where you would want to maybe take an assault rifle with you.  There are sniper points and plenty of places to hide.  Some game modes that I recommend for this map are blitz and kill confirmed.  A cool feature that is on this map is how there is a small train like vehicle that goes around most of the map. You could put a sentry gun in the vehicle and just wait to get those kills. If you also complete a field order, you can call in a destroyer strike and it will wipe out anyone in the main area of the map.  The next map is called Containment which is a riverbed in Mexico.  This is a medium to long range map and there is no problem with you taking a sniper rifle with you. There will also be people going under the bridge in that map through the riverbed so they can get to the other side. If you complete a field order, you can call in a mortar strike which will take out this huge nuclear missile on the bridge which will take out anyone on the bridge or in the riverbed. Some game modes that I would recommend for this map are Search and Rescue or Team Death-match. The next map is called Ignition which is a remake of the map Scrapyard from MW2.  This map is still incredible and there are extra things that are added into this map. There is this button on the map where if you complete a field order, you launch a test rocket and it will blow up and the pieces of the ship will land all over the map.  You can also  activate a test engine on the map and if anyone is under that engine, they will be roasted.  I recommend taking a assault rifle when you play on this map and recommended game modes are domination and team death-match. The final map is called Fog and it is a very spooky map. It is all fogy which is why it is called fog and there are thorn bushes all over the place.  Recommended weapons are mainly SMG’s and good game modes are cranked and free for all.  If you complete a field order  on this map, you get to become Michael Myres from the  famous horror film, Halloween.  You have the ax, You wear the mask and run around slicing.  The two new weapons are the maverick assault rifle and the maverick A2 sniper.  They both have lots of kick and the sniper rifle has a built in suppressor.  The new extinction chapter takes place in an arctic base in Alaska.  There are two new crypted types and a new weapon.  The first new alien is called the phantom which has a lot of health and when it jumps it turns invisible.  The next one is the breeder which is huge. You have to shoot it in its weak spot in order to do damage to it.  The  new weapon is called the Acid X which is dived by scorpion acid.  At the end of this chapter, it gives you a cut scene leading to the next chapter. I wont spoil anything but all I have to say is, they can SWIM now! As far as the next map pack goes which is called Devastation, all I know is that they might do a re make of Dome from MW3.  I am super excited for this dlc to come out on PS4 and I hope we get the next one soon.

Xbox One vs. PlayStation 4

This is my very first blog post and I mainly talk about video games and all things tech. Now this conversation has been going on now for a while all over the internet, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. You have probably seen it on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. But I decided to give this question my personal opinion. Now I do indeed have both of them and I spent all of my winter break seeing if there are any similarities or differences when it comes to graphics or game-play. But I do indeed think that the PlayStation 4 is better than the Xbox One. Now the Xbox One is still good when it comes to graphics and game play, but Xbox Live isn’t as good as PlayStation Network. PlayStation Plus is even better too. PlayStation Plus can let you get free games sometimes. Sony also released a mobile device known as the PlayStation Vita which is awesome. But just to sum it up, I think that the PlayStation 4 is better than the Xbox One. Let me know what you guys think is better in the comments.
